Stover & Company is excited to announce our first ever Brand Partner: Alicia Serna from @LoveChocolateDessertShop!

We wanted you to get to know her better, so we sat down with Alicia to discuss her baking background & why she chose to partner with us! 

Q: How did you get started baking? 
A: My baking journey started in November of 2020. I’m a stay home mom & I was looking for a way to help my family out financially after the pandemic hit. I had been seeing a ton of chocolate videos online & it sparked me to give it a try. The first chocolate treat I ever made was a breakable heart with dipped strawberries for my sister-in-law's birthday. After my family saw what I created, they encouraged me to make an Instagram page & start an official business. So I did…. & it took off quickly! I recently shifted from creating custom treats for customers to full time content creation to help teach & inspire other treat makers & bakers.

Q: How did you find out about Stover & Company?
A: I first found out about Stover & Company in March when I started seeing the company all over social media. The baking community was constantly talking about their brands & after all of the positive things I had read, I had to check out their website. A few weeks later I moved to Las Vegas & was so excited to see that a local cake & candy shop was carrying Sweet Shoppe Coating Wafers. It was destiny! I picked up my first bag & never looked back! 

Q: What made you decide to work with Stover & Company? 
A: After using Stover & Company’s products I fell in love! I’m all about community & always want to support my fellow home bakers so I knew I couldn’t keep this to myself. I needed my followers to know the quality of products Stover & Company has to offer! Beyond amazing products, Stover & Company provides exceptional customer service taking the time to connect with their customers.  It never felt like any other business where it’s all about transactions. Their family-owned culture shines through when they treat each & every customer like family. After looking more into Stover & Company’s history & core values I just knew that Stover & Company would be a great family to be a part of. The team has already been so inviting & I’m so excited to kick off some of the projects we have planned!

Q: What do you like most about our products?
A: The quality of the product is honestly the number one thing that stood out to me. Not only do I love the flavor of the Sweet Shoppe Coating Wafers & they are super easy to work with, especially for beginners. My treats come out shiny & smooth every time. I love the new packaging! It really helps show off the quality of the products & the moisture barrier helps to protect the wafers.

Q: What would you like our audiences to know about our partnership?
A: I’d like everyone to know that my role as Brand Partner will encompass so much more than just traditional content creation. I signed on to represent Stover & Company because I truly believe in the quality of products they offer & the values behind this family-owned & operated company. These are the actual products I use in my kitchen & for my family, friends & customers & I stand behind them fully. I’m looking forward to creating product tutorials, giving live demonstrations & helping to promote our products in cake & candy stores. We have a lot of exciting projects in the works & I am so happy & proud to partner with Stover & Company.
