We’re so excited to introduce another new addition to our Stover’s Sweet Team family — Nida Haque, known online as JustChocol8 by Nida! Based in Atlanta, GA, Nida brings a heart full of passion, a soul full of sweetness, & hands that craft the most divine chocolate creations. From viral cocoa bombs to stunning knafeh bars (also known as Dubai Bars), she’s got the magic touch & we’re so honored to have her as part of our team!

Her Sweet Journey
Baking began as a form of relaxation for Nida as a comforting escape during her intense days as a medical school student. When the world slowed down in 2020 due to the pandemic, she dipped her toes (& soon her whole self) into chocolate-making, starting with hot cocoa bombs. 

The response? Overwhelming love from friends & family & the beginning of a beautiful chocolate journey!

Since then, Nida’s treats have only grown more creative & delicious! Her sweet offerings now include staples like chocolate covered strawberries, Oreos, pretzels, cookiestix, cake pops, dates & now her signature Dubai Chocolate Bars!

What inspired Nida to turn her passion into a sweets business?
Social media mentors & fellow treat makers lit the spark & she’s now proudly part of that very same community of treat makers. Through her Instagram page, Nida showcases her gorgeous creations while sharing the love & knowledge she’s gathered along her journey.

Katrinna’s Sweet Journey
Katrinna’s journey into the world of chocolate & baking began at an early age. Her babysitter, a chocolatier, first introduced her to the magic of confections as she filled her home with irresistible aromas that left a lasting impression. Growing up in a large family, Katrinna was mesmerized watching her older sisters bake cakes, eagerly anticipating the moment they would rise in the oven. As she began her career, she became known as the “Betty Crocker of the office,” delighting coworkers with homemade cakes & cookies. Now that Katrinna has a family of her own, she continues the tradition, crafting themed chocolate lollipops & cupcakes for every celebration!

While many people have encouraged Katrinna to open a bakery for years, it wasn’t until she experienced the loss of a loved one during Covid that she realized it was time to pursue her dream! Sweet Kreations Co. (SK Co.) was founded in honor of that special person. With this leap of faith came more growth, success, & deep fulfillment than she could’ve ever imagined.

For Katrinna, treat-making isn’t just about having a business, it’s about creating a community. She firmly believes in collaboration over competition, finding joy in sharing knowledge & helping fellow bakers perfect their craft! One of Katrinna’s most rewarding moments is seeing others succeed using tips she’s shared, making her a perfect addition to the Sweet Team!

Laura’s love for the kitchen began with cooking as she experimented with new flavors & perfecting savory recipes. Ten years ago, her path took a sweet turn when Laura started helping a local restaurant with their desserts. A simple batch of cakepops—just drizzled & sprinkled—became a sensation & soon, customers were requesting custom designs for special occasions. 

 

What started as a delightful side project quickly grew into a full-fledged business & Delite Lee was born!

 

The genuine joy & excitement on customers’ faces when they received their treats is what fueled Laura’s passion further! More than just creating delicious sweets, she was able to find joy in crafting edible works of art that brought smiles to people’s faces. As her business grew, so did 

Laura's online presence, where she shares tutorials, tips, & behind-the-scenes insights. Laura tells us that connecting with fellow bakers & dessert enthusiasts on social media has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her baking journey.

Recipe: Giant Double Chocolate Dark Raspberry Truffle Cookies

We all know that Sweet Shoppe Melting Wafers are perfect for dipping, drizzling, & coating, but did you know they can also replace chocolate chips or chunks in your favorite baked goods?

 

Brittany from Sugar Cove Sweets took things up a notch with these Giant Double Chocolate Dark Raspberry Truffle Cookies, featuring our Sweet Shoppe Dark Raspberry Truffle Flavored Melting Wafers for a rich, fruity twist on a classic chocolate cookie. 

 

These cookies are thick, fudgy, & packed with chocolatey goodness with bits of melty Dark Raspberry Truffle Wafers in every bite. Whether you're a home baker or a professional baker, this recipe is a must try!

 

Giant Double Chocolate Dark Raspberry Truffle Cookies

 

Ingredients:

 

 Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Chop 1 cup of Sweet Shoppe Dark Raspberry Truffle Flavored Melting Wafers & set aside.
  3.  In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, & salt.
  4. In a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix butter on high for 1 minute. Scrape sides, then mix again for 30 seconds.
  5. Add brown sugar & granulated sugar to the butter & mix on medium until fluffy.
  6.  Add vanilla extract, egg, & egg yolk. Mix until just combined (don’t overmix!).
  7.  Gradually add the flour mixture on low speed until fully incorporated.
  8. Fold in 1 cup chopped Dark Raspberry Truffle Melting Wafers.
  9. Roll cookie dough into balls & dip the tops in additional chopped wafers before placing them on a baking sheet.
  10. Bake on the middle rack for 10-12 minutes, depending on cookie size.
  11. Let cookies sit for 10-15 minutes after baking before transferring to a cooling rack.

Recipe: Red Velvet Bundt Cake with Cream Cheese Glaze

Few desserts are as iconic as red velvet cake! With its signature deep red hue & soft, velvety crumb, this cake is a showstopper for any occasion! Thanks to Brittany at Sugar Cove Sweets, we’ve combined forces to put a spin on this classic cake!

 

Introducing the red velvet bundt cake topped with a sweet cream cheese glaze! We’ve paired Brittany’s classic Red Velvet Cake Recipe with our  Sweet Shoppe Cream Cheese Flavored Melting Wafers to create this delicious masterpiece perfect for any occasion!


This recipe takes a classic boxed red velvet cake mix & elevates it to new heights with added ingredients! So grab your bundt cake pan, your whisk, & your Sweet Shoppe Cream Cheese Melting Wafers & let's get started! 

 

Red Velvet Cake

  • 1 Box Red Velvet Cake Mix

  • 1 Cup Granulated Sugar 7 oz

  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour 5 oz

  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder

  • 3 Eggs Room Temperature

  • 1 Stick Unsalted Butter (melted) 113 grams

  • 1 Cup Sour Cream 8 oz

  • 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil 2 oz

  • 1 Cup Milk 8 oz

  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 345°F. Prepare bundt cake pan with baking spray or a homemade pan release. 

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave butter in 15-30 second intervals until completely melted. Set aside until ready to incorporate into your recipe.

  3. Measure sour cream & milk into a small, microwave-safe bowl. If not already at room temperature, microwave for 30 seconds to bring to room temperature then set aside.

  4. Crack room temperature eggs into a separate bowl & set aside. 

  5. Add flour, sugar, red velvet cake mix, cocoa powder, & salt to a large mixing bowl. Use a whisk or spoon to gently combine the ingredients until they are evenly distributed.

  6. Combine all ingredients into the bowl containing the dry ingredients. Don't forget to add the vegetable oil & vanilla extract!

  7. Mix ingredients together with an electric hand mixer, starting on low & increasing speed to med-high. Scraping bowl periodically to make sure all ingredients are incorporating & not stuck on the bottom. Mix until batter is smooth & fluffy, about 1-2 minutes!

  8. Pour batter into the prepared bundt cake pan. 

  9. Bake for 28-34 min depending on your oven. Use a toothpick or knife & insert into the center of the cake – if it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, it’s good to go. You can also gently press your finger into the top of the cake, if it springs back slowly, it’s done!

  10. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes, then transfer to a wire cooling rack to finish cooling.

Cream Cheese Glaze Recipe

Perfect for drizzling over cakes, bundt cakes, cinnamon rolls, & even cookies!

 

Ingredients:

• 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar

• 2-3 tbsp milk or cream

• ½ cup Sweet Shoppe Cream Cheese Flavored Melting Wafers (melted)

 

Instructions:

1. Melt the Sweet Shoppe Cream Cheese Flavored Melting Wafers in the microwave in 15-30 second intervals, stirring until smooth.

2. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar & 2 tbsp of milk or cream until combined.

3. Stir in the melted wafers, mixing until smooth. If needed, add an extra tablespoon of milk for a thinner consistency.

4. Drizzle over your cooled red velvet cake & enjoy!

  • Keep in mind, all ovens bake differently so an oven thermometer is highly recommended.

Stover & Company has worked hard to absorb these increases wherever possible. However, after careful consideration, we must make adjustments to ensure we can continue to provide the quality products & service you rely on. 

 

Starting in early 2025, you may notice a modest price increase on certain chocolate & compound coating products such as Merckens, Callebaut, Peter’s & even our very own Sweet Shoppe line. 

 

While we’re able to keep these price increases to just a few cents per pound at this time, we want to provide advance notice so you have time to plan & make any necessary purchases before the changes take effect.

1. PUMPKIN SPICE PUPPY CHOW
A quick, sweet-&-salty treat perfect for sharing (or solo snacking)! This easy to make recipe is great for kids, so grab the whole family! 

 

Ingredients:

 • 1 cup Sweet Shoppe Pumpkin Spice Flavored Melting Wafers

 • 1 cup Powdered Sugar

 • 1 cup Chex Mix Cereal


Instructions:

Melt the Sweet Shoppe Pumpkin Spice Flavored Melting Wafers.
In a bowl, mix together the Chex Mix Cereal & melted Pumpkin Spice Melting Wafers until fully coated.
Pour coated cereal into a ziplock bag & add the powdered sugar. Close the bag tightly & shake!
Pour mix onto a baking sheet until fully set.

1. In a small saucepan over low heat, warm the milk until it begins to steam (do not boil).

3. PUMPKIN SPICE BLONDIES

Soft, chewy blondies with a pumpkin spice swirl make for a delicious autumn dessert.

 

Ingredients:

 • 1/2 cup butter, melted

 • 1 cup brown sugar

 • 1 large egg

 • 1 cup flour

 • 1/4 tsp salt

 • 1/2 cup Sweet Shoppe Pumpkin Spice Flavored Melting Wafers, melted


Instructions:

 1. Preheat oven to 350°F & grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.

 2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, & egg, stirring until smooth.

 3. Add flour & salt, mixing until just combined.

 4. Pour batter into the prepared pan & drizzle the melted Pumpkin Spice Flavored Melting Wafers over the top.

 5. Swirl with a knife for a marbled effect, then bake for 20-25 minutes until set & golden.

 6. Cool before cutting into squares.

 


4. Pumpkin Spice Ganache

This rich, silky pumpkin ganache is perfect for drizzling, dipping, or filling cakes & pastries.


Ingredients:

 • 1/2 cup heavy cream

 • 1/2 cup Sweet Shoppe Pumpkin Spice Flavored Melting Wafers


Instructions:

 1. In a small saucepan, heat the cream over medium heat until it just starts to simmer.

 2. Pour the hot cream over the melting wafers in a heatproof bowl & let sit for 1-2 minutes.

 3. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted & smooth.

 4. Use immediately to drizzle over desserts, or allow to cool for a thicker consistency suitable for cake fillings or truffles.
