Sweet Team Spotlight: Meet Rachel Laukala!

We personally invited some of our loyalist supporters & biggest superfans to create this power team of talented bakers & treat makers & we want to give you a chance to get to know them better!

Meet Rachel Laukala:

First & foremost, Rachel is a wife & mom to three crazy boys! As a longtime friend & supporter of Stover & Company, Rachel started making cake pops for family & friends over 10 years ago & quickly found that making sweet treats brought her joy. Creating these little balls of cake covered in chocolate allows Rachel to express her artistic side & she fell in love with the process! That’s when Rachel made the life changing decision to start her very own business:

As a former elementary school teacher, Rachel’s passion is still in educating others, only now she gets to teach through cake pops! Rachel enjoys sharing her knowledge & teaches all her favorite tips & tricks to her students through her online platform School of Cake Pop.

“My goal is not only to create delicious & beautiful treats, but to also share the wealth of knowledge that I have accrued over the years with bakers who are just starting out, those who are exploring cake popping as a hobby or people who are experienced & want to level up their skills” shares Rachel.

When asked about her favorite Stover & Company product, Rachel is quick to call out our Sweet Shoppe Coating Wafers. “Especially the Sweet Shoppe Ultra White,” she says, “it has been my go to for the last few years! Sweet Shoppe is the only brand that I’ll use because the melting consistency is always perfect! I love that the coatings aren’t as sweet as some other brands I’ve used in the past.”

Rachel is equally as excited about the launch of our new colored coating wafers. “ I love that now I can either color my own melts or choose a ready-to-use colored wafer from the new Sweet Shoppe Colored Compound Line!”
