Stover & Company will now be offering our protective cold packaging add-on year round!

Do you live somewhere with a warm climate year round? Or are you someone who likes to have an extra layer of protection when placing your order? Now you can add our protective cold packaging to your order 24/7, 365 days a year! 

PLUS our system will now automatically calculate the correct amount of cold packaging needed to protect your order based on the weight of the chocolate & caramel products in your shopping cart! No more guessing required!

While our protective cold packaging is always recommended when shipping chocolate & caramel products, it is never required. You will always have the option to opt in or opt out to this packaging upgrade during checkout. 

Why should you consider adding Cold Packaging?

Shipping chocolate & caramel can be challenging, especially in warmer weather. Our protective cold packaging add-on includes both insulated panels & ice packs to help protect your order from melting during transit. This combination helps create a cooler environment to help shield your products from temperature fluctuations during transit, even if the ice packs arrive melted. 

Please keep in mind:

While we stand behind the quality of our packaging materials & the care our team takes in preparing your order, we are unable to control the temperatures & conditions that your package may face once it leaves our facility. Our cold packaging is expected to withstand temperatures of 80-90ºF for roughly 72 hours. Packages may encounter extreme heat during transit, especially in states where temperatures exceed 100ºF. Please note that the melting point for many of our chocolates, coatings & caramels starts around 90ºF.

Is your package out for delivery? We always suggest having someone available to receive your package at the time of delivery, especially during the summer months. We cannot be held responsible for packages left unattended in hot conditions.

Large orders with Freight Shipping:

For freight orders, we offer thermal protective blankets to help insulate your palette & protect your products from harsh conditions during transit. Please contact our customer service team for specific freight pricing.
